Summer College Program 2026
Team Birkie invites collegiate athletes to join our Summer Collegiate Training Program, a structured, coach-led training environment designed for athletes who want to make the most of their summer while training alongside a motivated and supportive group.
This program brings together college athletes in the Twin Cities who are committed to improving their performance, training consistently, and enjoying the day-to-day process of getting better. Athletes will benefit from high-quality coaching, a strong training community, and an environment that balances hard work with enjoyment.
Program Dates
June 1 – August 23
Program Includes
A fully periodized summer training plan
Daily access to coaching
Opportunities for daily training with a high-level group of collegiate athletes
Tentative Workout Schedule:
- Morning workouts on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at locations throughout the Twin Cities.
- Two afternoon strength workouts at the Theodore Wirth Trailhead per week.
Optional Performance Testing
Athletes may choose two performance testing sessions for a discounted rate of $200
(regularly $300 — a $100 savings)Mix and match any two of the following sessions based on your training goals:
VO₂ max test
Lactate threshold test
1-1.5hr Rollerski technique session on the Pioneer Midwest rollerski treadmill
Each session provides individualized feedback and actionable insights to help you train smarter and more efficiently.
Optional Altitude Training Camp (Park City, UT)
Looking to level up even more? Join us for an optional altitude training camp in Park City from July 20 to August 2.
Cost: $1,480
Tentative Camp Schedule
Includes:
- Daily coached workouts (camp schedule to be published February 10th)
- Meals
- Housing
- Ground transportation during the camp (Air travel not included).
Train hard, recover well, and enjoy two weeks of focused altitude training with your teammates.
